All fees are non–rebateable and non–transferable, however we will refund your fees if we are able to replace your cancelled session with another child. Please note this is only available at the beginning of each term prior to the child commencing at Playstation. The annual membership fee will not be refunded as this fee is to cover administration costs.
Casual sessions are only available to children already enrolled in a permanent weekly session. Payment is to be provided before your child attends the session.
Membership fee
An annual membership fee is charged to all families as members of Playstation and is due before commencing at the centre. The membership fee must be paid before an application can be processed. The membership fee for 2024 is $125.00
Fundraising levy
In an effort to simplify our fundraising activities but ensure we can continue to provide a vibrant centre, we have introduced a Fundraising Levy of $30 per family, per term. This is an important part of Playstation as it pays for the toys, books, furniture, equipment and consumables, such as paper that the children use as well as the upgrading of our playgrounds.
Late payment fee
As we are a non-profit organisation, fees cover all of the centre’s running expenses. It is therefore essential that all fees are paid on time. If term fees have not been received prior to the commencement of the following term a $20 late payment fee will be added to the following term’s invoice. If payments have not been met prior to the new term commencing your permanent position may be forfeited and given to the next available on the waitlist. If you are experiencing difficulties with payment of your invoice, please contact our Membership Officer as soon as possible to arrange a suitable payment plan.
Childcare subsidy
There are two types of childcare centres. One is an ‘Approved Centre’ and the other is a ‘Registered Centre’. Playstation is a Registered Centre and does not fit the requirements of the subsidy, so you will not be able to make any claims on fees you pay for your child/ren to attend Playstation.
